I doubt plz accounts are illegal because the CEO of deviantART :iconspyed: wrote an article on how there are about 60 new plz accounts per day! The article is at [link] . :iconspyed: also encouraged members to post plz accounts in comments to his news article to make a huge plz directory! :lol:

In order to be banned, :icondanceplz: and :iconsmileplz: must have done something against the rules. I think a common reason for plz accounts being banned is if they're overused. In other words, if there are too many comments at deviantART with that particular plz account, then the admins consider it spamming.
